JHAROKHA MUGHAL GARDEN- SRINAGAR
Jharokha Bagh[/caption]The little known Jharokha Garden, also called by the name of ‘Jarogabal’, is located on the extreme north eastern bank of solitary and picturesque Lake Manasbal, 30 km north of Srinagar. The Jharokha bagh was built at the time of Mughal Emperor Jahangir for his wife Noor Jahan. Originally named as ‘Daroga Bagh’, this royal palace and garden commands a breathtaking view of serene Manasbal Lake. Spread across an area of 3.5 hectares, this is a quaint and serene place to spend some peaceful time on the lap of nature and ancient remnants.
